As it stated by Variety, it would seem that Indiana Jones' new cinematic work, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Harrison Ford, has been postponed again by Disney, with the new release date set for July 9, 2021, an interesting situation considering that this is the second delay that the film finds itself having to face.
Again according to what was stated by Variety, shooting on the film was supposed to start in April 2019 in the UK, but has now been postponed by around a year. Fortunately, both directors of the work are still in place, well-intentioned to continue the project. Apart from this, Indiana Jones 5 however, it also saw the arrival of a new screenwriter, that is Jonathan Kasdam, famous for his recent work with Solo: A Star Wars Story, which will replace David Koepp.
