Bittersweet news arrives for fans waiting for the confirmation of the fifth season of Lucifer; the devil, in fact, has been confirmed for another season but which unfortunately will also be the last viewable on Netflix.
"See you again in hell." This is the slogan that accompanies the announcement of the new season on Lucifer's social pages and that could already clarify some dynamics that will make up the last season.
"We are really grateful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season and now for allowing us to close the show however we want."
These are the words of Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson, producers of the series who are very keen to thank fans from all over the world for having brought this show even to "world tranding topic" when there was the announcement of the closure without a real ending in the May 2018.
With this fifth and final season, Lucifer will reach 77 episodes becoming the second Netflix “original” series by number of episodes behind Orange is the New Black.
All that remains is to find out what the closing of the story of the king of the underworld will be like!
