J.R.R. Tolkien, author of "The Lord of the Rings", He will soon be the protagonist of a feature film dedicated to him, entitled"Tolkien" directed by Dome Karukoski, with protagonists Nicholas Hoult e Lily collins.
The film, written by David Gleeson e Stephen Beresford, will debut in United States the next 10st May, and was produced under the supervision of David Greenbaum e Matthew Greenfield. The cast also includes Colm Meaney, Craig Roberts, Anthony Boyle, Patrick Gibson, Tom Glynn-Carney, Genevieve O'Reilly, Laura Donnelly, Pam Ferris and Derek Jacobi.
The feature film focuses on years that formed Tolkien, in the company of his wife Edith, in particular on experiences that led him to create the incredible fantasy world in his head, then proposed to the cinema by the director Peter Jackson, first with the trilogy "The Lord of the Rings"And, subsequently, with"The Hobbit".
