The Boys: the creator declares that the second season is almost over

The Boys: the creator declares that the second season is almost over

With the production of most of the most popular television series and movies temporarily halting due to the Coronavirus, the mind of The Boys, Eric Kripke, provided an update regarding the current production status in the second season of the superhero series. Like many other studios, work on the second season of The Boys is already remotely finished, however some visual and sound effects are still being worked on. On top of that, Kripke himself added that the premiere date will be announced very soon: the star of the series Karl Urban had already stated last November that the second season would premiere in mid-2020.

The first season was very popular, boasting favorable reviews from both critics and the community. Based on the comic book series of the same name, The Boys is a dark and satirical version of the genre superheroes produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment, which features a special team tasked with annihilating a company and its superheroes who abuse their powers. In this regard, Kripke has promised that the second season will not only be bigger than the first, but also incisively deeper, more intense, more insane, more heartbreaking and more driven towards the characters.. We remind our readers that, as we explain better in our article, the new one has been announced comic series by The Boys, set exactly 12 years after the series finale.

    I get asked a lot, so #TheBoysTV update: finishing # Season2 remotely. Still some VFX & sound to do, but we're SO CLOSE! Airdate (& other cool shit) will be announced SOON! #TheBoys @TheBoysTV @PrimeVideo #SPNFamily @Sethrogen @KarlUrban @ JackQuaid92 @antonystarr @ErinMoriarty_ pic.twitter.com/mpS8lHgZT7
