Netflix honored fans of the The Witcher TV series with a new, short video, showing a quick rundown of all monsters faced by Geralt of Rivia is… two new creatures, equally frightening, which allow us to get a very small idea of what awaits us in the second season. The movie is intended as a dedication for the night of Halloween. What, better than monsters and demons, not to get out of the mood?
Dedicated to the homonymous saga of videogames developed by CD Projekt RED (arrived at the third chapter with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which we obviously reviewed at the time), inspired in turn by books by the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher TV Series currently consists of only one season, present in the pages of the catalog of Netflix. In the video of about 40 seconds (reported at the bottom of the news) it is possible to glimpse two creatures that did not appear in the first season, exactly at according to 0.15 and according to 0.31, as well as a mix of scenes from battles already faced and already shown in the series, where of course Geralt has had the better of every terrifying creature that has appeared from who knows what abysses.
The Witcher tells of a world where humans coexist more or less peacefully with elves, dwarves and other creatures typical of the fantasy world, including monsters of various kinds such as the Leshen, terrifying every time it appears on the screen. THE Witcher, category to which Geralt belongs, are gods emotionless mutant warriors who fight with two different swords: one D'steel (to bring down men) and the other ofsilver (to get the better of demonic creatures and any other non-earthly being). Small curiosity: in the TV series Geralt is never equipped with both swords, as it happens instead in videogames and as it does not happen in books.
In early October Henry Cavill, the actor who plays Geralt of Rivia, showed off his new armor ahead of the second season, which is scheduled for release in 2021. Finally, we remind you that we are always waiting for the debut of the augmented reality videogame, designed for mobile devices Android e iOS, The Witcher Monster Slayer, still lacking an official launch date.
