Xbox Wire he revealed that Showtime is developing an adaptation of the franchise's TV series, with the network officially ordering a season of 10 one-hour episodes. It promises to be a faithful adaptation of the epic 26th century conflict between humanity and the alien threat known as the Covenant - the antagonistic alien race throughout the Halo series.
No information has been provided at the moment about the debut of the series, but it has been confirmed that production will start in early 2019.
