The panorama of gaming smartphones, in addition to the series ROG Phone of Asus, also consists of products made by other companies in the sector such as, for example, Xiaomi. Over the years, the Chinese giant has in fact created a series of smartphones dedicated to named gamers Black Shark and, in the last few hours, he officially presented the two new members of the family. Named Black Shark 4 e Black Shark 4 Pro, the two new products are candidates to be very dangerous rivals for the ROG Phone, not only for the selling price. Starting the analysis of the data sheet of the two devices, it immediately catches the eye how both are equipped with two powerful processors Snapdragon developed by Qualcomm: 870 for 4 e 888 for the 4 Pro. While they have different CPUs, the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro will have storage UFS 3.1 and memories RAM LPDDR5 in different configurations.
The display of both smartphones is very interesting, which is a candidate to set new standards in this market niche. This is a panel AMOLED E4 made by Samsung da 6,67 " characterized by a refresh rate di 144 Hz it's a touch sampling rate di 720 Hz. As in the past for the Black Shark 2, the display recognizes the pressure exerted on the surface. What makes these Xiaomi smartphones particularly innovative is certainly the presence of two backbones on both sides that are pressure sensitive, simulating L1 / R1 with a light touch and L2 / R2 with a firmer one. The keys are retractable and therefore will not affect the use of other applications on which they have no real use.
At the moment, no launch date has been announced by Xiaomi outside of China and for this reason no official prices have been announced for our market. For now we know that the Black Shark 4 will cost around 320 € for the version 6 / 128 GB, 350 € For that 8 / 128 GB, 390 € for that from 12 / 128 GB e 425 € for that from 12 / 256 GB. The Pro version, on the other hand, should cost about 520 € for configuration from 8 / 256 GB, 580 € for that from 12 / 256 GB and finally 690 € for the top configuration from 16 / 512 GB.
