Among the most important accessories that a self-respecting gamer absolutely cannot do without, the headphones they hold a position of the highest level and for this reason there are many companies that produce models made specifically for the needs of gamers. Among the main players in this sector we are also wanting to enter AOC, a company until now famous for its gaming monitors and which in the last few hours announced two new over-hear headsets called GH200 e GH300. Characterized by an almost identical design due to the same chassis and by the presence of a detachable microphone, braided cable and in-line remote control, the two models differ in terms of aesthetics mainly for the different finishes (gunmetal for GH200 and red for GH300).
The connector fleet is also different. While the GH200 offers stereo sound with a 3,5mm jack connector, the GH300 also provides a 7.1 virtual surround sound (when connected to the PC), as well as a USB connector and various RGB-type lighting effects. In terms of sound quality, the virtual surround system will allow users to reproduce studio quality audio at 24 bit / 96 Khz. Both headphones have neodymium driver from 50 mm, which offer a frequency range of 20 Hz - 20 kHz and operate with an impedance of 32 Ω (± 15%). The omnidirectional boom microphone can, as already mentioned, be disassembled and adjusted according to needs.
Designed with a design designed to block external sounds and reduce annoyance after prolonged use, the two models of headphones are equipped with 2 meters long cables that facilitate use even at a distance. Coming to stores starting in the month of May 2021, the AOC GH200 and GH300 headphones will be available at a price in line with that of the main competitors and equal, respectively, to € 42,90 e € 55,90.
