Every year, when a new device with better technical characteristics than the previous version is launched, we often find the list price also rise, sometimes by a lot, sometimes by very little. In fact, in recent times we have seen those that are considered the top of the range rise almost double, sometimes reaching figures of just under two thousand euros.
It seems however that AppleWith the new iPhone 12, this price increase should not implement it. According to an analyst from TF International Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo, also with the integration of the 5G and the use of a metal case that the current iPhone does not have, the new devices should not receive a substantial price increase. To implement this "policy" Apple it would also be reducing supply chain expenses by moving the component research and development apparatus to its internal division.
It also appears that the base model of the new iPhone 12 could be equipped with a screen LCD, unlike the other models in the new range which, in all probability, will have a panel OLED. However, for the reasons mentioned above such as 5G and the use of the metal body, Apple will have to contain production costs to be able to bring new technologies at an affordable price better than in the past.
