Not long ago, rumors gave British actor Henry Cavill as ready to return to the role of Superman. Yet, no news on a possible feature film Man of steel 2 has yet to be confirmed. A clarification would come from Heroic hollywood, well-known portal of films, comics and video games, which would have shared some insider news about the intentions of Warner Bros, about the saga Man of Steel. The production company would in fact have stated that it has no intention of dedicating an entire film dedicated to the Superhero at this time. Rather, she'd rather have him as a supporting character in an ensemble film and postpone the decision later depending on the attention it would elicit from fans.
A standalone Superman movie wouldn't be successful right now
This is currently the opinion of the producers, to say the least simple and clear. What is expected now is for another DC film to give the character momentum to win the chance of an indie film.
