In addition to the next chapter of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the wacky Guardians Christmas special project, there is also another very interesting project on Marvel Studios' mind regarding the colorful space team. During the'Investor Day Disney from last night, Kevin Feige has in fact announced the arrival on Disney + of an animated series of short films, centered on the beloved character of Baby groot and entitled, inevitably, I am Groot. However, we have very little information about the series, and this mostly comes from a short tweet published through the official account of the Marvel Studios, tweet that allows us to admire the logo of the series, which strongly refers to the character.
Everyone's favorite little tree, Baby Groot, will star in a series of shorts on @DisneyPlus featuring several new and unusual characters.

I Am Groot, an original series from Marvel Studios, is coming!
The only hypothesis that we can advance is that which sees Vin Diesel return to dub the character but, even here, no confirmation has been given at the moment. During Investor Day, a lot of space was given to the Guardians of the Galaxy. In fact, the arrival of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, holiday special coming to Disney + in 2022, written by James Gunn. With the success of Guardiani della galassia and then of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Gunn transformed a team of misfit characters no one had heard of before into blockbuster superstars who have made their way onto the Marvel Cinematic Universe landscape.
At the moment we have no concrete news on this I Am Groot, nor on The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, except for the logos and some details for the direction. Investor Day was full of announcements, so we just have to wait and hope that further news on all the new Marvel movies will arrive as soon as possible.
