Inspired by the graphic novel Watchmen the TV series HBO's Watchmen it turned out to be a narrative hit. The production led to the creation of nine episodes, managed in full by the showrunner Damon Lindelof. Recently the Programming Chief of HBO Casey bloys however, he confirmed that it does not seem there will be any more, precisely for extremely authorial issues. Damon Lindelof has in fact openly stated that he is not interested in a possible second season of HBO's Watchmen.
The initial project did not include a second season after all, and if the author himself does not find ideas for the latter it is perhaps better that he never sees the light, so as to avoid the risk of casting shadow on the first.
