A few months ago we told you about iPhone 12 and the possible absence of the notch that is so loved and hated by both home fans Apple and not only. After the first renders of the new device, today the popular leaker Jon prosser released a tweet on his official profile where he showed new patents that debunk the first theory.
According to the images released, the new iPhone 12 will always have that unusual black cleat at the top of the screen, but much smaller than in the past. In the two photos below, plausibly taken from what could be the user manual, the notch is there but it is smaller. Inside it will probably be placed as usual various components related to both the photographic and audio sectors, obviously without forgetting the chips for facial authentication through the use of Face ID. There is also a reduction in the thickness of the frames which could therefore lead to some substantial design changes.
Nothing has been made official of course, and until Apple itself releases an official statement confirming or denying everything, we must take this news with due precautions.
