In the last few hours Ubisoft announced that for this weekend Assassin's Creed Origins, the tenth chapter of the famous series, can be played for free on the platform Uplay in PC version. The pre-loading is already available on the site, but to start playing you will have to wait until tomorrow, June 19th. Like any title offered at the moment by the service, too Assassin's Creed Origins will be available in its full version, and will save progress made until June 21, in case players decide to purchase it after the offer ends.

Uncover dark secrets and forgotten myths by returning to where it all began: the origin of the Brotherhood of Assassins. Sail the Nile, unravel the mysteries of the pyramids and face the ancient factions and wild animals that populate an immense territory full of surprises. Take on thrilling missions animated by unforgettable characters. Meet wealthy nobles and desperate outcasts. Discover a new way to fight. Collect loot and use dozens of different weapons, with different characteristics and rarity levels. Manage character progression and test your skills in powerful boss fights.
The title, released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017, was particularly appreciated by critics and the public, presenting some radical changes from the previous chapters of the saga, including a more complex and improved combat system and the addition of typical features of RPG video games, such as the ability to upgrade weapons and characters to level them up. This could be a good opportunity to recover Assassin's Creed Origins, which in any case will be available on the platform catalog UPlay. We also remember that Ubisoft is currently working on the last chapter of the famous series, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which in turn will bring further changes, and which will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Google Stadia and PC in December 2020.
