Launched over ten years ago and distributed on millions and millions of devices, Android managed to maintain a top position (shared with iOS di Apple) thanks to the continuous improvements introduced by Google with its various versions. Starting from 1.0 and arriving at 11, the Big G operating system has been able to go hand in hand with the smartphone market, always offering new features, capable of enriching the user experience of its many users. And even with version 12 it would seem that the company intends to give continuity to this constant evolution.
In the last few hours, a Google document made for developers has emerged online which, in some images, reveals what could be the new interface that will distinguish the "vanilla" version of Android 12 and some of the new features expected. Based on what emerges from the images that you can admire in the gallery at the bottom of the article, the Mountain View giant has decided to adopt a minimal design and elegant for the UI of its operating system, characterized by rounded corners and pastel colors. Furthermore, some warning which, like iOS 14, indicate which app is currently using the camera or microphone. It will also be possible to activate or deactivate them from the settings of the privacy. Furthermore, it would seem that even the iconic widget will undergo a major overhaul, both in terms of design and functionality.
At present, not much information is known about Android 12 and considering how this document aims to prepare OEMs for the new software, it is possible that the final version (expected by the end of this year) is different from the images presented in this article. At this point we can do nothing but wait for the next few weeks to find out new information - perhaps officially from Google - on this new and awaited version of Android.
