Within the graphics card market continues to rage the "war" between NVIDIA e AMD and the latter, in the last few hours, has officially unveiled what should be one of its best weapons, or the GPU Radeon RX 6700 XT. The subject of numerous leaks and rumors over the last few months, the new member of the Radeon RX family promises to be a very interesting product for all those who intend to improve their gaming configuration.
Based on the architecture named RDNA 2, the graphics card from the American manufacturer equips a Navi GPU 22, which is able to dispose of one computational power 40CU (compute unit) for a total of 2560 Stream Processors. Thanks to these features, the Radeon RX 6700 XT is perfectly capable of handling one resolution of 1440p in video games. It also features a game clock capable of reaching a peak of 2,4 GHz, coupled with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. As for the cooling system, the AMD card has two fans and the system Zero RPM, which stops the fans in case of low loads to favor silence. There is also an 11-phase VRM and two connectors PCIe, one with six pins and one with eight. The presence of the RDNA 2 architecture already mentioned, allows the GPU to be able to count on support forInfinity Cache and hardware accelerated calculations to manage real-time ray tracing.
Finally, AMD announced the price to which the graphics card and the date of availability to purchase. The Radeon X 6700 XT will be available for purchase starting next year 18 March, at a recommended price of dollars 479. It is important to underline that, starting from the same date, customized versions will also be available from other manufacturers, such as ASUS, Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte e ASRock. At this point, we just have to wait until March 18 to discover the true potential of this very interesting GPU.
