Through a new press release published on their official website, Blizzard has finally announced the new release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the highly anticipated new expansion for the hugely popular MMORPG released way back in 2004. Initially scheduled for early October, this new adventure has been postponed to allow the development team to refine it even more to release a perfect experience since its launch. On behalf of the entire World of Warcraft team, I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to everyone for their patience as we continued to work on Shadowlands and for all the support we received after the tough decision to postpone the game. Today, I'm happy to announce that the expansion is coming on 24st November at 00:00 CET.
We would like to thank everyone in the WoW community who helped us get to where we are today, including the players who created and leveled new characters (and kept the Azeroth barbers very busy) in the pre- Shadowlands patches and all the beta testers who have continued to provide us with critical feedback for the expansion.

As players explore this otherworldly place, players will discover the fate of the legends of Warcraft, forge a bond with one of the four Covenants that reign over the Shadowlands, and ultimately face a threat shrouded in darkness, eager to annihilate the entire cosmos.
