In the past hours The Last of Us Part II was the victim of heavy leak which have seen the spread of some important gameplay scenes and even the game ending. Following these heavy spoilers, Sony e N have announced the new release date of the title, which had been postponed a few weeks ago. The software house has also published a small message dedicated to all fans of the title, in which it shows all the disappointment due to these leaks.
In the letter released through Naughty Dog's official social channels, you can read the following message:

We know the last few days have been incredibly difficult for you. Let's try the same thing. It is truly a disappointment to see material released and shared before the release date. Do your best to avoid spoilers and we ask you not to spoil the surprise for other people.
The Last of Us Part II will be in your hands very soon. No matter what you read or hear, the final experience will definitely be worth it.
We remind you the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive will be released next 19nd June.
