Despite the recent news that the development of the highly anticipated one would be completely canceled Resident Evil 8, new rumors reveal some details on plot and gameplay of the next chapter of the horror series developed by Capcom. These rumors include information about the protagonist, the setting of the title and the types of enemies that will be present, including old acquaintances and new introductions.
In the past few hours, the well-known YouTube channel Residence of Evil has in fact published a video in which it illustrates some new rumors, confirmed by the well-known insider Nibel. According to the youtuber, it will be the protagonist again Ethan Winters, former main character of the last Resident Evil 7. Just like in the latter, moreover, the view will be in first person.
As for the enemies instead, Resident Evil 8 will see the return of the zombies and the introduction of a new type of enemy: the Werewolves. There will also be a enemy who will tail the player, as happens with Mr. X in the recent Resident Evil 2 remake.
The title should finally be set in a castle on snow-capped mountains and would see the presence of Chris Redfield, even as a playable character.
