We still don't know much about waiting PlayStation 5, console that was announced by Sony but never shown or officially presented. There is talk in this period of a very close reveal, probably in the course of June, but nothing is confirmed at the moment. Waiting to discover more news, we can take a look at a full-bodied one that shows all the developers who have confirmed, or almost, that they are working on the next-gen platform. Here is the list:
- Sony Interactive Entertainment: In addition to the unannounced titles that its various development studies are working on, it is substantially confirmed that the next chapter of Gran Turismo will arrive exclusively on PS5.
- Rockstar Games: he is hiring for his next generation project, even if it is not known whether it will be an unreleased IP or a sequel to their series.
- Square Enix: Luminous Productions in-house studio is working on an AAA project for PS5.
- BioWare: Although still a rumor, at the moment it is very likely that the team is developing a PS5 version of the action RPG Anthem.
- Activision: considering a recent job request, Treyarch is working on a new yet unannounced next title, probably related to Call of Duty.
- Bandai Namco Entertainment: according to statements released by a developer of Supermassive Games, the latter team should be making a mysterious AAA game dedicated to the Sony console.
- Bethesda: the company has already confirmed that Starfield, an ambitious sci-fi title of which there is still little news, will be available on PlayStation 5.
- Ubisoft: Although they will be cross-gen titles, they are already confirmed on PS5 Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion. There will certainly also be Beyond Good & Evil 2, although nothing is yet known about its release period.
- Defiant Studios: the team is hiring programmers to develop an unprecedented intellectual property for the new generation, which could be a FPS with mechanics related to cooperative multiplayer.
- Warner Bros. Studios: Rocksteady Studios is hiring for roles in their new next-gen console project, but there are no further details on that.
- Amazon Game Studios: Double Helix is working on an action shooter for next-gen platforms and PC.
- High Impact Games: The authors of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters are making a yet unannounced next-gen title. Still no information on the nature of the project.
- epic Games: the company has already confirmed that Fortnite will arrive on PS5 directly at the launch of the console.
- Codemasters: at work on DiRT 5, title coming soon the launch of new consoles.
- Missset: Their multiplayer title Flea Madness is expected on PS5 for 2021.
- Frogswares: The team has recently announced the arrival of Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One on current and next generation consoles
