Kingdom Hearts Union χ Dark Road, the browser game of Square Enix e Success Corporation, will officially shut down its servers. To announce it, a message from the developers themselves, thanking users for the continuous support shown over the years, and stating that an offline version of the title will however remain open and accessible to all. Not only that, even the same Tetsuya Nomura wanted to pay tribute to all players with a personal message addressed to all of them.

Hello, Keyblade owners.
Thanks for playing KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ Dark Road. We have an important announcement about the future of this title. The KHUX story will end this April. Following this, KHUXDR will terminate the service on May 30, 2021 at 18:00 pm (PDT) / May 31, 2021 at 1:00 am (UTC). An offline version of this app will be made available so that players can enjoy the whole story. KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ Dark Road will be playable offline and KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ will be available as a theater mode. It is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement and we sincerely apologize for the news. The entire KHUXDR team is deeply grateful for all the support and enthusiasm players have shared over the years and we can't wait to see what the future holds.

To all of our fans, first of all, I want to thank you all for taking this journey with us for more than 5 years. As we previously announced, the final chapter of Kingdom Hearts Union X has been written, and the story is drawing to a close. The Dark Road story will continue for a while and can also be enjoyed in the offline version of the app. For me, personally, I remember getting excited the first time I saw the game run smoothly in 2D on a mobile screen, when Unchained X first became an app. It was 6 or 7 years ago, but the series has continued to evolve in its multiple versions, starting with the browser version, X, which became the mobile version Unchained X, and in turn, Union X, giving rise to the beginning of Dark Road. I can't wait for that not so distant day to come when I can meet you again. You have our wholehearted gratitude for being part of the Kingdom Hearts saga. Thanks a lot to everyone.
The saga of Kingdom Hearts, during all these years, he has seen a lot of spin-off titles, and Union's was certainly one of the most popular on mobile devices. The title, which came supported since 2015, will unfortunately shut down its servers next April.
