In the last period it has been announced Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, a game whose story will revolve around Young Xehanort's past, but intended for mobile devices only Android ed iOS. The intention of the Japanese software house is therefore to continue with investments on the series, which is easily understandable given the colossal success of the franchise obtained in recent times.
He was the inventor of the series Tetsuya Nomura to confirm that in addition to the mobile title, already mentioned above, there are currently 2 games in full swing, one of which is coming "very soon", it is therefore assumed that we will know something more about it in a short time. Just in December 2019, job advertisements related to the development of "HD" games had appeared, and earlier this year Nomura had already confirmed that Square Enix was particularly focused on the Kingdom Hearts IP, with now two separate teams who are dedicated to making games in the series.
