Hideo Kojima, after a short break from social media, he began to show his fans again through "mysterious" tweets that could somehow represent a hypothetical Death Stranding 2(here our review of the first chapter). Nothing reliable, God forbid, but let's take a closer look at what the eclectic video game developer has left on the social network.
He first shared a post where he explained how he changed his lifestyle under the restrictions imposed by the lockdown. Kojima has in fact remained in close contact with the art director Yoji Shinkawa, historical right-hand man with whom he collaborated on more than one occasion. In the posted photo you can clearly see a BB and a sketch of a drawing that could somehow be connected with Death Stranding. In a second post Kojima stated that he is currently working on a concept, namely one primordial phase from which a new game will be born, which may well be Death Stranding 2. The photo following this statement shows a spaceship drawn in pencil with the inscription BRIDGES. Precisely this has aroused a strong interest among fans and created a greater expectation regarding a possible second chapter, thus adding, hypothetically, space travel within the context of the game.
Finally, an image of the same vehicle, which could also be a simple means of terrestrial locomotion, was tweeted again by Hideo Kojima, also describing the happiness of being physically back to work together with Shinkawa, keeping in mind the various rules of social distancing. Here are the various posts released.
Here's my way of designing new title w / Yoji. 1st we discuss the setting for each character, the background, the world, the color, the characteristics, the roles, the images, ideas and keyword going back & forth via E-mail. WFH & 20 mins direct discussion. Mostly texting via iPhone. pic.twitter.com/XCYpFwsQ6U
