Finally here we are, CD Projekt RED made the long awaited game available on consoles and PCs patch 1.2 di cyberpunk 2077, which should once and for all remedy the critical issues reported by users over the last few months. As we previously announced, the second big update from the Polish development team brings several improvements to the open world action RPG not only in terms of gameplay, but also in terms of the level design of the game, locations and missions.
Among the various corrections introduced we find some console-specific tricks, such as being the problem on PS4 that caused items not to be discardable from the backpack (as they reappeared in the inventory) or the one on Xbox One that did not allow users to view the customized interface of Johnny during the concert scene in Love Like Fire. The new patch should have fixed the constant crashes of the game once and for all.
But that's not all, since the huge patch 1.2 also includes several PC-specific fixes, such as the ability to assign keyboard commands to open and close specific panels with the same key and activate Ray Tracing on AMD video cards. For this last feature, the video drivers must be updated to the latest version available. In addition, a new “mod” folder has been added to upload archives with mod. The archives can be freely named, and will be saved in the "mod" folder. The presence of mod archives in the “patch” folder is no longer supported.
Waiting to be able to test the various improvements introduced by the patch 1.2, we remind you that cyberpunk 2077 is available for purchase on PlayStation 4 (physical version only), PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC and Google Stadia. The latest effort of CDPR can be played on the next generation consoles of Sony and Microsoft thanks to their backwards compatibility, only at a later time will the next-gen update be released.
