This morning, a large part of the users registered for the service Microsoft products of subscription games, namely Xbox Game Pass for PC, they were finally able to put their hand to the latest work by Remedy known as Control, excellent third person shooter released last summer which is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One e Nintendo Switch (through the streaming service). The owners of any Microsoft console currently on the market could already enjoy the title through the vaunted service, while from today it will also be possible to enjoy it for those who only own a PC and not a console. However, one of the latest technologies that is causing a sensation on Microsoft machines is the DLSS 2.0, feature reserved only for video cards Nvidia GeForce RTX which allows for performance improvements and therefore techniques of considerable impact and above all in great demand by "hardcore gamer" players.
Bitter awakening, however, for anyone, today, has discovered that Control for Game Pass is afflicted with a bug that prevents the game from detecting an RTX video card. Consequently, all those who wanted to take advantage of the DLSS 2.0 to enjoy the significant improvements, having mounted in their machine an adequate GPU with support for Ray-tracing and DLSS 2.0, had to give up. As you can see from the following link, on the famous ResetEra forum there were many to report the problem, regardless of which RTX video card is mounted in their respective PCs.
At the moment it is not known what the reason behind this problem is and if and when it will be solved. Certainly the PC user is very demanding and can hardly pass over things of this type. We believe that soon the version of the title available on the Game Pass will certainly be patched and the problem will be solved. Stay tuned to our pages to find out all the related updates.
