Fans of the famous Ubisoft series will not have to wait long before the arrival of the next chapter, which as we all know it will be called Assassin's Creed Valhalla. As revealed this week by the French company, Valhalla will bring the theme of the franchise back to the times of the Vikings, which is sure to draw some similarities with the much-acclaimed God of War of 2018, which deals with the same topic. Nevertheless Cory Barlog, director of God of War, has openly shared his support for the Nordic setting of the latest installment of the Assassin's Creed series. Via Twitter, Barlog has posted a few posts in response to the recent title revelation, expressing a particular interest and enthusiasm in seeing this setting through the eyes of other creative minds. According to him, Norse myths will persist through the ages providing countless creatives with a deep well from which to draw inspiration.
Same Ubisoft team developers they addressed the God of War comparisons in an interview with GameSpot, and they say they hope to make Valhalla "the quintessential Viking fantasy". In this regard, the creative director of the game has recently provided more information about the hidden blade, which in this chapter is positioned differently than the previous ones. Before leaving us, we remind you that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia e PC by the end of the year: Cory Barlog himself has declared his curiosity in wanting to put his hand on the title.
