I can't wait to connect with our writers, producers, directors and cast to bring this epic final chapter of Robert Kirkman's story to life for our fans. The Walking Dead flagship series has been my creative home for a decade and so getting it done feels bittersweet. I couldn't be more excited to be working with Scott Gimple and AMC and developing a new series for Daryl and Carol. Working with Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride has been the best thing in my career and I'm thrilled to be able to do it again.
The first spin-off is currently set for 2023, to be followed by Tales of The Walking Dead, an anthology with some episodes or small cycles dedicated to new or existing characters, background and other independent experiences.
