Zack Snyder's Justice League: here are the photos of Jared Leto's new Joker

After launching a small teaser on the new look of the Joker played by Jared Leto which we will soon see return with all its eccentric splendor to Zack Snyder's Justice League, today the American director in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine has decided to officially reveal how Batman's nemesis will appear in his reissue of the film by Joss Wheadon of 2017 based on the superhero league of the DC Comics universe, which we remember will be released exclusively on HBO Max  starting from the next 18 March. Despite not being present in the original film, Snyder still decided he wanted to highlight this character who was not properly exploited in Suicide Squad, where indeed he was the protagonist of various criticisms.

This new version of the Joker played by Jared Leto turns out very different from how we left it in the last film in which it appeared: the hair is longer, the face is tired and distressed and it has lost the tattoos that surrounded it, but which instead has not lost the spark of madness that permeates the historic villain. In this pair of photos taken directly on the set we can see that Batman's nemesis appears to be locked up in Arkham Asylum, and we can't wait to see how it will be treated in the feature film curated by Zack Snyder, arriving on streaming on demand platforms starting next March 18th.

Possible spoilers about Zack Snyder's Justice League follow.

In the Vanity Fair article, Zack Snyder also talks a little about how he wanted to introduce the character of Joker in the film, also because the curiosity is so great since in the original film Batman's nemesis was not even present. In the article, the director talks about how he wanted to insert a kind of warning that will appear in a dream to Bruce Wayne, in which the Joker shows the superhero how the planet will be reduced in case the Justice League fails to defeat Darkseid.
