We have to wait until 2021 to be able to see the TV series made by Marvel Studios within the streaming platform Disney +. Among the various WandaVision, The Falcon & the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, What If ... ?, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight, one of the most anticipated is of course Loki, the TV series dedicated to the homonymous character played by Tom Hiddleston. The novelty is that the TV series may already have been scheduled to be composed of at least two seasons.
The possible spoiler has escaped Clark Gregg, agent Phil Coulson of Agent of SHIELD, and Loki's old acquaintance (Loki "kills" Coulson in The Avengers movie). Gregg during the promotion of the final season of Agent of SHIELD stated that he would not be surprised if Loki's misadventures continue into a second season, further stating:
I would be lying if I didn't think it would be interesting to see this experiment going on, considering how they made the 10/12 episodes that Tom Hiddleston told me about, with the kind of budget and production that Marvel Cinematic guarantees.
The curiosity is that, when Loki was announced within San Diego Comic-Con, it was specified that the series would consist of 6 episodes. According to Gregg's words, Hiddleston should have shot 12 episodes, an amount that demonstrates the clear intentions of Marvel Studios in making a TV series, subsequently dividing it into two distinct seasons. We'll see if this information is confirmed by some Disney big shot. In the meantime, we viewers would only be happy to see the adventures of the God of Deception continue as much as possible.
