As you know the filming of the second season of The Witcher they started again last August and these days Netflix has begun to release official images dedicated to the series. After the starring image Geralt of Rivia (interpreted by Henry Cavill) wearing one new black armor, Netflix has released a new image dedicated to another character, that is Characteristic (interpreted by Freya Allan). Despite the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 has significantly delayed the work, the second season di The Witcher will debut on Netflix on schedule and will be previewed in 2021. The cast of the series will see are just the return of Cavill in the role of Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) e Freya Allan (Ciri), but will see the inclusion of many new faces, including the former Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, who will fill the role of Nivellen. But that's not all since the streaming giant has in recent months announced that a live-action prequel series titled Blood Origin and an animated film.
The official description of the series, present on the Netflix page, reads:
