The first season of the TV series Stargirl has now ended and has seen the Justice Society of America triumph against the Injustice Society of America, although the number of casualties was not entirely insignificant. Precisely because of the countless number of primary and non-primary characters who have "left" the show, this new season promises to bring many new protagonists from both "factions" with as many possible plots to be developed over the course of the events. The first, we remind you, was broadcast on the streaming platform DC Universe and on the canal T. The showrunner and creator Geoff Johns recently spoke about the future of the series, revealing the most central presence of Grundy and the arrival of new villains like Eclipso and many others. The latter will have a decidedly important role within the new episodes.
I am very happy that audiences will get to know Solomon Grundy better in the second season. Why not, in the end he's not dead yet and we have a really interesting story for Grundy's new story arc. We have many new and beautiful things to show and explore, new characters to introduce and new stories to weave. You will see some good ones.
Courtney Whitmore, character played by the Texan actress Brec Bassinger, is an adolescent girl who lives the problems and happiness of every other teenager, school and friends, but above all she will experience her discovery of superhero powers and all the responsibilities, complications, but also the glories that derive from them. Stargirl, born from the pen of Geoff Johns, has passed on the small screen after the birth on the comics, enjoying great success enough to receive a new second season. The first, consisting of thirteen episodes, starting from 6 July 2020, after the renewal for a new season, has become in effect a CW original series.
