The director said that “it was very important not only to redo things already seen in the past, but also to add new elements. We knew this would infuriate some people, but at the same time we would thrill others. To achieve certain things you don't necessarily have to follow traditional or indispensable sequences, but also approach them in an innovative way, whether it is chases or battles with the lightsaber. We wanted to make sure that aspects of the Force were shown in ways that go beyond what has been seen in the past. "
