According to what is reported by the gematsu.com portal, a next-gen version (which we should now define as current generation) of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to PlayStation 5 could be announced soon. The indiscretion arises from the recent evaluation carried out on the title developed by Respawn Entertainment for Electronic Arts in 2019 by the German valuation firm USK. As you can see from the image at the bottom of the news (source: gematsu.com) to the title, in its PlayStation 5 version (only console indicated) was assigned an assessment for an age limit of no less than 16 years. Just below you can see the same title, with the same rating, in its versions dedicated to Microsoft's Xbox game universe.
A free update of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, to land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. A native version, as seems likely for a few minutes, however, would guarantee graphical improvements (and perhaps to the gameplay sector) of a superior nature. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a beautiful game, but obviously suffering from flaws that would make almost any type of player turn up their noses. Star Wars fans will surely find bread for their teeth, that of Respawn is a title designed for them and that makes the path of maturation from Padawan to Master palpable. This new IP has a solid foundation and enormous potential, we hope that in the future the development house will treasure the mistakes to give fans the definitive Jedi experience.
Before saying goodbye, we remind you that, speaking of Electronic Arts, is now available in the PC version, through Xbox Game Pass, the subscription service EA Play of the Canadian giant. Fallen Order is just one of the many games that Electronic Arts has dedicated to the Star Wars universe and among the most recent we remember the series Star Wars Battlefront initially published in 2015, whose last chapter (review here) was published in 2017.
