Not a day goes by now where we say that the arrival of next generation consoles is really around the corner. In fact, November 10 will be the turn of the Microsoft ecosystem with its Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. About a week later, on November 19, Sony will distribute the new PlayStation 5 in "standard" and All-Digital versions to the world. In the days leading up to the debut of the new machines, it is normal that there is still some confusion regarding some situations, especially new to the genre. In fact, it seems that the latest rally chapter made by Codemasters, or DiRT 5, released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 16, will also be distributed on PlayStation 5 on November 12, the day one of the console for the US market.
The software house has in fact announced the imminent arrival for the only game console that has been orphaned of a release date for some time. That's not all, because those who buy the current gen version of the title will be able to receive the update for free to “bring it” to the new Sony console in case of purchase. Through a tweet that you can find at the bottom of the article, the development studio has finally illustrated some features that the game will have such as:
- Cross-gen online support with PlayStation 4
- Ultra-fast uploads
- Free upgrade from the previous generation version
- Choice of graphics quality (4K resolution) or fluency (up to 120fps on compatible TVs)
- Support for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback
Unfortunately, the only sore point of Dirt 5 concerns the saves of the title that cannot be transferred from one console to another.
