Daredevil: bad news when it comes to video games

For all Marvel Comics readers, Daredevil, the devil from Hell's Kitchen, is a much loved character. In recent years, thanks to the extraordinary interpretation of Charles Cox, has also entered the hearts of TV series fans. A rumor has recently surfaced, according to which a videogame dedicated to the famous "A croissant". Unfortunately, however, this news was officially denied by Bill Rosemann, VP & Head of Creative of Marvel Games.

The misunderstanding, which had raised the hype of many fans, was born following an exchange of tweets between Rosemann himself and Troy Baker, voice actor of numerous video games, including The Last of Us, Arkham Origins and Death Stranding. Baker, in Rosemann's tweet, is defined as a Man without Fear, and here's how this definition sparked the most imaginative theories of fans. For those unfamiliar with the character, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear is the title of one of the most beloved sagas dedicated to the red devil, written by Mark Millar, drawn by Jhon Romita Jr. and published by Marvel Comics in 1993. Rosemann si he is therefore forced to rectify his simple comment, publishing the witty tweet, which we report below:

From the Nelson & Murdock Law Department: While Bill has great admiration for Man Without Fear, there is no Daredevil game in development. Bill's tweet to Troy Baker represented a recognition of their shared desire to make the aforementioned game and Bill apologizes for the confusion his tweet may have generated.

From the office of Nelson & Murdock: While Bill greatly admires the Man Without Fear, there is no Daredevil game in development. Bill's tweet to @TroyBakerVA was an acknowledgment of their shared desire about creating said game & he apologizes for any confusion his tweet created. pic.twitter.com/tFI2LiqquD

In short, the dream of being able to play a game that sees as the protagonist the devil of Hell's Kitchen, which we had imagined similar to Marvel's Spider-Man made by Insomniac Games, for now it breaks here. We hope at least, to the delight of fans, to be able to see the Daredevil played by Charles Cox in a new television season or within a film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
