➤ SAG Awards 2021: all winners presented 🎮

On Easter evening, Sunday April 4 2021, the Screen Actor Guild Awards (o SAG), the awards recognized by the union of American actors for the excellence of the craft on the big and small screen. Undisputed star among the winners of the 2021 SAG Awards, the “king” of streaming platforms Netflix.

For the cinema categories, Chadwick Boseman wins (another) post-mortem award for Ma'Raney Black Bottom, Viola Davis surprisingly wins for best actress for the same film. The Chicago Trial 7, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, wins the night's highest accolade, the Best Cast Award for a Film.

In the categories for tv, The Crown (our review here) wins Best Cast in a Drama Series and Best Drama Actress a Gillian Anderson for her interpretation of the "iron lady" Margaret Thatcher (bypassing the co-stars Emma Corrin e Olivia Colman, considered the favorites in the category).

In comedies, Schitt's Creek is "satisfied" with two awards after making history at the latest edition of Emmy Awards (here's our winners article), Best Cast in a Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy a Catherine O'Hara. In the categories of television movies or limited series, Anya Taylor-Joy wins another Best Actress award for The Queen of Chess, accompanied by Mark Ruffalo for the double role in the drama One Face, Two Destinies - I Know This Much is True.
