In the course of 'Investor Day yesterday, the presentation aimed at investors organized by Disney, lots of news about the Marvel and Star Wars universes have been announced. During the event it is announced, with a very first teaser trailer, Lightyear, a spin-off prequel di Toy Story starring Buzz Lightyear, to be released in theaters on June 17 2022. The heroic Space Ranger will be voiced by Chris Evans, actor who plays Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film, directed by Angus MacLane, will therefore be a prequel that will tell the story of the real Buzz, the young pilot, who then inspired the production of the toy protagonist of the four Toy Story films.
