Amazon will produce an animated series inspired by the comic Invincible, written by R, the famous creator of The Walking Dead, and drawn by Cory Walker e Ryan Ottley. It will be the first production to be part of Amazon's contract on the rights to the television products of the Skybound Entertainment label, Kirkman's publishing house and partner of Image.
The first season will consist of eight episodes and co-produced by Simon Racioppa (Teen Titans) with Skybound.
Invincible tells the story of Mark Grayson, an ordinary teenager whose father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. After the age of seventeen, Mark also begins to develop powers.
