Again Hades makes people talk about themselves. Launched in December 2018 in version early access and only completed on September 17 this year, Hades managed to climb to the top of what is now widely recognized as a well-deserved success. After winning the award for best indie game and best action at The Game Awards 2020, he is back in the limelight with the conquest of new awards as best game of the year by international gaming magazines.
The latter pearl registered Supergiant Games, has managed to overtake high-sounding titles such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Last of Us Part 2 e Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Hades comes to fully deserve the this year's best game award for publications such as The Verge, Poygon e IGN USA, who said of the title: "Hades is a one-of-a-kind rogue-lite that sets the standard for creatively combining different genres and using their strengths to complement each other in unexpected ways."
The Last of Us Part 2 instead comes to win like Game of the Year chosen by the IGN audience, acknowledgment of which Neil Druckman he wanted to express his thanks, also adding his congratulations to Supergiant Games for the victory achieved with Hades, communicating that it is his favorite game of the year:
