Guilty Gear: Strive has been postponed due to the coronavirus

In the past few hours, the team of Arc System Works communicated through his account Twitter and Guilty Gear: Strive was postponed due to the health emergency caused by the coronavirus. Initially the new fighting game of the Japanese development team was scheduled for the end of 2020, but now, according to the words of Takeshi Yamanaka, producer of the title, was postponed to early 2021. We report below what was communicated:

Thank you for your interest in Guilty Gear: Strive. We previously announced the release of the game for late 2020, however we have decided to change our plan and release it in early 2021.

While our company staff and business partners are working hard to address the changes due to the spread of COVID-19, every aspect of our development program has faced several delays. In addition, we have decided to set up a program to further improve the quality of the game, in response to the various reports and feedback obtained from the recent closed beta.

We sincerely apologize to all those who have waited for the release with so much enthusiasm. We ourselves are committed to bringing you a new title dedicated to the Guilty Gear series, which will satisfy all our fans. We assure you that we will make good use of the extra time available to us to do this.

    Thanks for your understanding.
