The rumors about GTA 6 have been going on for a very long time now, and many believe that this new chapter in the saga of Rockstar Games it will be the one that will make players feel the real generational leap. Among the many rumors that followed, most seemed to support the hypothesis of a return to Vice City as the location of the next Grand Theft Auto 6. However, to date, the software house has not yet expressed itself on the official setting of the game, so we invite you to take these rumors with due care.
Recently, although there has been no concrete information on when or where Grand Theft Auto 6 might take place, Project Americas spread some theories that quickly went viral, and ignited many speculations which have been the engine of almost all the rumors that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City. For a few days, what it seems to be a Rockstar insider is supporting the above rumors. This information comes from the forum 4chan, where it was released on March 29, and then spread like wildfire on platforms such as Imgur and Reddit.
The leaker then attempted to add credibility to his statements by claiming that he worked with Rockstar in a "coordination function" but did not provide any way to verify his work history. Similar to the rumors of Project Americas, the whistleblower claims that GTA 6 will be set in different cities, and that it could take players to "a total of 5 cities' contiguous in 5 states", which presumably they will include Liberty City and a sixth metropolis that is not adjacent to the others.
At the moment, it's just speculation, as we have no way of proving anything that, to date, is only a set of theories exposed in some forums. We just have to wait for official information from Rockstar, on the location and details of its next Grand Theft Auto 6.
