The guys of sucker Punch have recently communicated on their Twitter profile that Ghost of Tsushima officially entered the Gold phase. This means that the development phase has been complete, and the title is now ready for mass production. We report below what is reported by the Twitter post and a detailed overview of the new work of the US development team:
We are thrilled to announce that #GhostOfTsushima has gone GOLD! This is the culmination of years of hard work from our team and we can't wait to put it in your hands on July 17th!
At the end of the 13th century, the Mongol Empire devastated entire nations during their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is everything between mainland Japan and a huge fleet of Mongol invasions led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai positions himself as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is determined to do whatever it takes, whatever the cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must put aside the traditions that shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Spirit, and wage an unconventional war for Tsushima's freedom.
Please note that Ghost of Tsushima will debut exclusively on PlayStation 4 the next 17 July. If you missed it State of Play Sony entirely dedicated to the gameplay of the latest effort by sucker Punch, you can retrieve it via the following link.
