By fully conquering the community, Final Fantasy VII Remake has landed on the PlayStation 4 catalog thanks to the hand of Square Enix, which is now involved in the creation of the second part of this long project. We know that the story of Cloud has certainly not ended, and that unfortunately it will take some time before the developer can completely finalize a new chapter, on which, however, we have recently had some small clarifications.
From the translation ofUltimania, in fact, it emerged that the second episode is still in an extremely primordial phase, despite the software house is already dealing with the same. The co-director Naoki Hamaguchi in fact, he speaks of the “planning phase”, as well as of “nothing solid yet”. The second part may therefore take longer than expected, given that apparently software processing has not already started. Also considering that the new chapter will have to interface with next-generation hardware, now imminent, it seems that the studio will have a lot to work on before we can present the game, although an imminent declaration regarding the plans underway is likely.
