We finally return to talk about the new film adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons, the highly anticipated high budget production Paramount e aeon on the most famous and played tabletop role-playing game ever, which today saw the official announcement in the cast of Hugh Grant, who will play the role of the villainous main villain of the Forge Fletcher film. The Hollywood star is best known for her excellent performances in great films such as Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Cloud Atlas e The Gentleman, and that we will soon see him in a new fantasy version that will surely enrich his long list of interpretations.
Together with Grant, to join the large cast of this feature film is also added Sophie Lillis, already known for her excellent performances in the first part of It and for the Netflix series I'm Not Okay With This, unfortunately canceled only after the first season. In this way the two British actors join the other colleagues already confirmed in their roles for the film, for example Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, series Fast and Furious), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Chris Pine (Wonder Woman 1984) is Rege-Jean Page (Bridgerton). Unfortunately, little is known about the latter about which characters they will play, except for Pine who is said to be the protagonist of the film.
To direct the much anticipated Dungeons & Dragons movie, Paramount hired Jonathan Goldstein e John Francis Daley, who for the occasion also supervised the writing of the screenplay for this film. In addition, the production company also hired the writer Derek Kolstad, who also worked on John Wick and at the most recent The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, to write a live action TV series always based on the well-known role-playing game, without giving further details about it.
