CMP, the site that deals with customizing technological products of all kinds, has made available, for a few days in its store, two black color versions of the PS5's DualSense. The first has the original white keys and comes sold for 115 dollars, while the second has the iconic keys that we can find on the controllers of the older generations of Sony consoles and has a selling price of $ 125. According to what is written on the site, the products would be shipped within two to three weeks from the time of purchase, however we do not yet know if they will also be available in Europe.
The CMP site was the first that with, the release of PS5, tried to sell colored covers dedicated to the next gen console. But later he had to take a step back because of a legal action and Sony he threw at him. However this hasn't stopped the site from customizing that at the end of January he reopened orders for his covers, selling them for $ 69. For now, Sony has not yet said a word about it, but given how it has moved in the previous cases, another legal threat could come in days. Currently CMP, together with its DualSense, sells PS5 Cover in Black, Red and Blue color.
In this period, other projects similar to CMP were born on the web, including the site Decor Evolve which has been selling for a few weeks cover for the DualSense at the modest price of $ 9,99. The colors available for now are ten and the user will have to replace the purchased cover by himself. Nothing official on the horizon instead, Sony has not yet communicated anything about possible versions of its console and its accessories in other colors. Obviously the Japanese company has other things to think about, including the scarcity of consoles in circulation in the various physical and online stores. We hope that once this unpleasant situation has settled, Sony can evaluate the idea of creating covers for consoles or DualSense with different colors, just like in previous generations.
