According to the well-known leaker AestheticGamer - the same you can read about the facts about the development of Resident Evil 8 - the famous horror saga Silent Hill may soon reveal itself to the general public via not one, but two new titles currently in development. The franchise, which has been standing still for some time, still enjoys a large fan base that looks forward to knowing the future of the saga, especially after the case of PT between Kojima e Konami.
These two projects, according to the leaker, should be one the remake of a past title (presumably the first chapter) and the second, instead, an adventure game similar to Until Dawn with a strong narrative component. Given the great success recently obtained by home horror productions Capcom, Konami would like to brush up and ride the wave of success before the golden age ends, perhaps probing the ground first with a remake that would raise the hype even more (if obviously done carefully) and then move on to a new one. episode of the saga.
The two titles should be in development at two separate studios selected by Konami itself which enjoy a rather high budget for productions of this type. Both could see the light on both current and next generation consoles, as well as on Nintendo Switch.
We look forward to finding out more from Konami with the hope that what is written is at least partly truthful.
franchise, the other an episodic TellTale / Until Dawn-style game to go alongside the reboot. I don't know anything more than that though, but I sure do hope Konami's given it the appropriate budget and found the right developer to make those games succeed.
