Disney +: Renewals are blocked and assistance is stopped, what's up? [UPDATED]

As the subscription price increases Disney +, the company has allowed users already subscribed to the service (at the cost of 69,99 € annual) to renew their subscription for the same amount, thus allowing them not to pay the current price of € 89,90 per year. However, in the past few hours many Disney + renewals have been blocked for a large part of users, who risk not being able to make the payment before their subscription expires.

A crash to such systems therefore risks leading the same user already subscribed to pay more, for a simple error of the service that is being found in many parts of Spain. Obviously, many are trying to contact customer support to prevent this from happening, but it seems that in these hours the help service is not available, and therefore it is not possible to remedy the problem generated by the online streaming platform.

According to the photos and reports of Disney + viewers, some renewals are blocked even if you change the payment method, through an email that is promptly sent to the inboxes, but that does not solve the problem. This is also a damage due to the simple impossibility of no longer being able to consult the huge catalog, which has recently been enriched with the first episode of the first season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (review here).

How will Disney manage to resolve the situation by avoiding the complaints and class actions that you already hear about on social media about the issue? The entertainment giant could easily fix the problem caused by the crash refunding the extra amount that some users will be forced to pay for renewal, or simply allow them to pay at the promised amount for a longer period of time.
