Castles of Mad King Ludwig is returning in all its glory: Bézier Games announced a deluxe edition for the title of Ted Alspach.
The novelties introduced by this edition are the completely renewed illustrations, deluxe components, larger tiles, a double layer and double face board, new rooms, introduction of the fifth player, 2 new expansions, three-dimensional towers, metal coins and compartments made by GameTrayz.
It is a tile placement in which each player has the task of erecting a castle, purchasing and placing room tiles in order to optimize their effects and complete objectives. The game, released in 2014, has met with considerable success to the point of receiving 10 different localizations (however it has never been translated into Spanish), two reimplementations (The Palace of Mad King Ludwig e Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig) and a version for smartphones Android e iOS.
It has also received numerous awards such as the award Meeples' Choice 2014, a nomination for Magnificent Goblin and Mensa Select 2015.
The start of the new campaign is scheduled for January 19, 2021, a small preview is visible at this link, with the possibility of receiving a notification at launch.
