Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 27 October, a new and very interesting campaign will be available on Kickstarter by the new author Roberto Bucciarelli and developed in collaboration with i Piccini Bros of the publishing startup Jocaranda Games, which takes the title of 2 Kings. This new game, also referred to as the mad battle between two kings, is a competitive for 2 players with a variable duration ranging from 20 to 30 minutes for each single game. Each will play the role of their respective kings with the aim of conquering the opponent's kingdom. To finalize this objective, players will have to deploy their respective armies on the battlefield - represented by different dice colored blue and red - to lead them to the opposing towers and hit them until they are destroyed. This is accompanied by simple game rules and a very quick setup which allows you to start a game in the shortest possible time. The title is a meticulously balanced mix of tactics, fun and risk, making it a de facto product for both newbies and deep industry strategists. Below we leave you to the description of the game and the images of 2 Kings, as well as the link of the campaign present here:
- During their turn, players roll a special nut which, based on the result, can decree the following items:
a) acquire an Elixir score to be used to place one's pawns on the field and to move them;
b) access the use of particular spells useful for combat. - To make their way to the towers, the two players will have to face each other through inevitable battles on the battlefield (made on the inside of the package) that will see the weakest pawns fall at the hands of the strongest. Furthermore, during the challenge the two kings will be able to use various spells with which to attack the opponent, enhance their pawns or even perform special moves, in fact creating infinite combinations of alignments, movements and magic that give greater depth to the work.
- There is obviously no lack of strategic elements. In fact, at each turn, the player must decide how to use the score Elixir obtained by throwing the dice, trying to maximize its effectiveness according to the moment (placing a piece of high value or two or more of low value; deciding the right number of pieces to move on the battlefield and many more). Then there are the spells that introduce additional decision-making elements: better to increase the value of one of my pieces on the field or decrease the value of the opposing pieces? And again: do I try to make a combo with a special movement (for example the jump) or do I try to win the jackpot?
The fundraising campaign of 2 Kings will start on October 27th at 15pm CEST and will run for 00 days. There will be the inevitable stretch goals that aim to improve the quality of the final product. All those who choose to join the project, as soon as possible, will be able to use theEarly Birds Reward, which will give him the chance to take home a copy of 2 Kings at a 20% discount.
