In recent days Randy Pitchford, boss of Gearbox, he would reveal on his account Twitter the name of the director who would direct the film adaptation of Borderlands. According to what reported by Kotaku, and according to the recent tweet from Pitchford, then promptly deleted, it will be Eli Roth to direct the new film produced in collaboration with Lionsgate ed Ara Production. I am delighted to welcome Eli Roth as the director of the Borderlands film in development with Lionsgate and Ara Production. More details will be revealed during PAXEast on February 27th.
Most likely the announcement arrived earlier than expected, so it will have been canceled immediately. We just have to wait, at least the date reported by the tweet, to get more information on the new film dedicated to the well-known videogame saga of Borderlands.
